It Began With Once Upon A Time
Many tales begin with the line "once upon a time", and I think it fitting that my blog begin in such a way as well.
Greetings, dear readers. Here I hope to post my thoughts on philosophy, current events, and other such things. I hope that those whose thoughts are similar to mine will be attracted here, and we can share our thoughts with one another. With that said, let us begin.
About me
I'm just your average Joe, trying to make his way in the world. I enjoy philosophical musings, and have wanted to share them with people for a long time. My thoughts tend to wander to all of the various weavings in the tapestry of life, or at least as many as humanly possible. I also enjoy the finer things in life. I like nice food, good conversations, analyzing this and that, and other things.
One big thing about me to remember is, I am a joker. I make jests about anything and everything that I can. This is not meant as an insult, but rather a means of turning things on their heads. If something is serious, I might try and turn it on its head and break the cycle of seriousness. I've lived through a lot of drama, and I would rather not see someone go through it as well. The worst kind is the kind that goes on inside your mind, and I would not subject even my most disliked person to that kind of hell.
I am an avid Nightwish fan. I heard their music all the way back in High School, and I was fixated on their music ever since. No other artist or genre really comes close, though I should note that Nightwish is tied for first place on music creators I love. The other group to share the number 1 spot on my list is Cirque du Soleil. I could go on and on for days about them, and I may just do that.
Well now I feel the itch to really start writing, so let the games begin!!
